Home electric vehicle charging stations range from $350 to $900. Installation costs range from $480 to $1,700 for labor alone, but you should be aware that there may be government programs to help with the cost.

The carport is equipped with a self-consumption system that includes 10 solar panels of 400W and a single-phase 5 kW inverter. In this way, the cars are charged with solar energy and, if this is not enough, the charge is completed with electricity from the grid.
When cars are not charging or if there is excess electricity production during charging, this electricity can be diverted to the home to be consumed there, helping you pay the general cost of electricity at home.
For the investment of the installation of your system, you can claim30% as a Tax Credit for Solar Investment (commonly called ITC).
